THE Guam Football Association National Training Center continues to be a very busy venue for action on the pitch. In division one of the Budweiser Men's Soccer League, Quality Distributors took on Table 35 Espada FC in a match between two unbeaten teams. After a back and forth battle, neither team was able to extend their win streak and had to settle for a 2-2 tie.
Quality’s Aaron Scott got things going offensively as he scored the early goal to take a 1-nil lead. Not satisfied with their one-goal lead, Scott Spindel added another for Quality, allowing them to take a two-goal lead. At sound of the halftime whistle, Espada FC trailed Quality 2-0.

After returning from the short break, Alan Jamison ended his team's drought and recorded Espada FC’s first goal in the 52nd minute. Then, 20 minutes later, a Thaddeus Atalig goal made things interesting after equalizing the game.

Quality keeper Brett Maluwelmeng recorded a few key saves in the last 20 minutes of play and his team’s defense also shut down the league’s leading scorer Elias Merfalen to salvage the draw.

Staman led all scorers with a hat trick and teammate Edoardo Regno added one goal. Austin Cruz, Eddie Lorenzo, Jeremy Copple and Gerard Aguon scored for the Cobras.
