(MFL) – The Miller Football League returns with its fourth season.
The 2013 season will kick off Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, and will conclude with the Miller Bowl on Saturday, March 16. The four football teams will go to battle on Saturdays and Sundays at the University of Guam football field. Every weekend fans can enjoy Miller Lite, Pepsi products, and food while enjoying the highest competitive adult football action in the region.
From 2010 to 2011, the Shell Hal’s Angels were the kings of the gridiron, claiming back-to-back titles. However, with the Cars Plus Rams sitting as the reigning and defending 2012 champs, this season looks to be one of the league's most competitive seasons yet. The Miller Football League also looks forward to more exhibition matches with Guam's neighboring counties. Earlier this year, the league put together “The Guam All-Stars” to compete in Manila, Philippines against the Philippine Punishers. The Guam All-Stars would go on to defeat the Philippine Punishers 32-12.
