SPPC golf tournament to benefit local charities

(SPPC) – South Pacific Petroleum Corporation will be holding its 8th Annual Drive for Charity golf tournament to benefit the Rigalu Foundation, Sugar Plum Tree, and the Oasis Empowerment Center.

The event will take place on Sept. 15 at the Leo Palace Resort Country Club. Show time is 7 a.m. while shotgun start is 8 a.m.

“Every year that we hold our annual golf tournament, SPPC is appreciative of the overwhelming support we garner so that we can help these local charities make a difference in our community,” says Mark J. Sablan, SPPC vice president of business development.

According to Sablan, registration is still ongoing. Those interested in attending can pick up a registration form at any of the following locations: 76 Circle K stations in Anigua, Ypao, Airport, Sinajaña, Dededo and the SPPC Corporate Office in Upper Tumon.

There is a $250 entry fee per team, 72 team limit. The tournament’s format is a 2-Person Scramble Select Shot.

Hole-In-One prizes include: Nissan Guam Infiniti FX35, Guam Harley Davidson 2012 Road King, SPPC $7,600 gas, and Royal Bic’s $5,000 cash.
