(KGA) – The Korean Golf Association proudly announces the 26th Annual Korean Golf Classic to be held at the Leo Palace Golf Course Aug. 11 to 12, with showtime at 11 a.m. and start time at noon.

The Korean Golf Classic is one of the longest-running and largest golf tournaments on Guam.

Golfers will be placed in one of five flights based on their USGA handicap: Champion, A, B, C, and Ladies (one-day modified Callaway), for a stroke-play competition held over two days.

Hole-in-one prizes include vehicles sponsored by Cars Plus, Nissan, Harley Davidson, and Pac Sports, and $7,600 worth of gas courtesy of 76/Circle K.

There will be tons of raffle giveaways and prizes, with the first place winner in each flight receiving a $1,000 cash prize.

Proceeds from the tournament will go to help Make-A-Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity of Guam, Big Brother Big Sisters of Guam, and the Korean School of Guam.

Entry forms are available at Leo Palace Golf Resort, Copy Express (Tamuning), and Golf USA.

The event’s major sponsors are Ambros Inc., Moylan’s Insurance, DFS Galleria, Leo Palace Golf Resort, Jin Air, South Pacific Petroleum Co., Nissan Motors, Cars Plus, Harley Davidson, Pac Sports, and all other local and Korean sponsors.
