TOMORROW night, the University of Guam Field House is the place to be as several of the island’s best fighters combined with fighters from abroad are set to fill a fight card guaranteed to bring some excitement and intense action.
With eight fights on the schedule to include a double main event, it’s anyone’s guess as to what will happen at PXC 32. Two of the biggest fights on the night will feature title belts being laid out on the line.
In one of the two main events, the reigning 145-pound champion Baby Joe Taimanglo will be putting his title on the line as he takes on Korea’s Jang Young Kim.
Taimanglo, who is coming back from a recent injury, wants nothing more than to hand Kim a loss and keep his title around his waist and on the island. “The Juggernaut” is coming off some great training that he recently went through in Las Vegas with Dominic Cruz and many other UFC and Bellator Fighters.
The second title up for grabs at PXC 32 will be the welterweight championship. A belt that has been vacant for quite sometime will be awarded to the winner of the bout between Guam’s Ryan “Biggs” Bigler and Korea’s Lim Hyun Gu.
Despite entering the match a few inches smaller, Bigler is looking forward to a great battle against his opponent. Both fighters will enter their match with identical (9-2) records and look to improve on that.
Action for the rest of the night can only be just as great. In one of the most highly anticipated matches of the card, Ronnie Borja and Kyle Reyes are two warriors that will square off and lay it all out inside the cage. Despite being away from the MMA scene for several years, Reyes is looking to have a great showing against Borja. The two fighters will bring nothing but excitement to the crowd. Borja is coming off two losses and is looking to gain back his winning ways.
Other scheduled fights:
- Joe Arriola vs. Jared Mellon.
- Tyrone Jones vs. Brian Howard.
- Jung Hoon Koh vs. Ricky Camp.
- Derick Rangamar vs. Kyle Aguon.
- Mark Nique vs. Josh Alvarez.
