THE Naval Supply Systems Command has posted a competitive small-business 8(a) solicitation for logistics support services at Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Guam.

According to the solicitation, it is anticipated that up to three Inter-Service Supply Support Operations Program multiple-award, firm fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts will be awarded and individual task order requirements will be ordered. The contracts are to comprise a one-year base period and two one-year option periods.

The work involves providing the Guam center with a responsive, efficient and reliable means of obtaining temporary contract labor support on an as-needed basis to meet the needs of its operational objectives, according to the solicitation. The response deadline is Oct. 18 and the contracting office is NavSup Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville.

The Air Force posted a small-business solicitation for Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System components. The response date is Sept. 23 and the contracting office is the 36th Contracting Squadron.

Naval Hospital Guam posted a notice that it intends to award a firm, fixed-price, sole-source contract for medical transcription services to EMDAT Inc. of Fitchburg, Wis. The contract is set aside for a certified small business and the response date is Sept. 20.

The National Park Service awarded a small-business contract valued at $34,680.10 for mobile storage units for the War in the Pacific National Historic Park visitor center in Piti. The awardee is MTM Business Systems of Tustin, Calif. The company is to supply high density mechanical mobile shelving units with internal shelving units to accommodate boxes 15 inches by 12 inches by 10 inches with floor tracks or rails.
