Police finally apprehend Nego

Man wanted for robbery nabbed in Dededo

ADRIAN Nego, the man who’s been the subject of a police manhunt for more than a week, was finally apprehended yesterday in Dededo.

According to Guam Police Department acting Public Information Officer Lt. Art Paulino, officers from the Dededo Precinct located Nego at a residence located off Chalan Balaku in Machanao, Dededo.

The 21-year-old man was transported to the Tamuning-Tumon Precinct where he was charged with robbery, burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery, and conspiracy to commit burglary.

Nego was involved in the recent robbery case near Chamorita Way Beach Side in Tumon and a Sinajaña burglary which he had participated in with his brother, Glen Nego. Glen was earlier arrested for snatching a tourist's purse at Fujita Beach in Tumon.

The Nego brothers are booked and confined.
