ENDY Timas Timoti, the man who was indicted with multiple offenses for alleged acts of drunk driving that caused the death of Navy sailor Anna Sterling, has entered a guilty plea and admitted to the felony charges.

During a change of plea hearing in the courtroom of Judge James Canto, Timoti also admitted to being guilty of a separate DUI case filed against him prior to the July 23, 2012 incident in Agat, where he drove into an oncoming traffic lane and struck Sterling's motorcycle.

Sterling was pinned underneath Timoti’s vehicle and died immediately after.

The unemployed Agat resident, who already had previous DUI convictions, is expected to receive a life imprisonment sentence for the charges connected with Sterling's death.

His sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 29.
