ENDY Timas Timoti, the man who was indicted with multiple offenses for alleged acts of drunk driving that caused the death of Navy sailor Anna Sterling, is scheduled to enter a guilty plea to a separate pending DUI case today.

Timoti, 44, was in the courtroom of Judge James Canto yesterday when Deputy Attorney General Phil Tydingco stated the defendant’s intention to change his plea on the DUI case, where he is alleged to have collided with another vehicle.

The unemployed Agat resident has a criminal history that includes two prior convictions for DUI within the last five years.

He was on pre-trial release on a felony DUI case when he drove into an oncoming traffic lane in Agat, struck the motorcycle driven by Sterling, and pinned her underneath his vehicle on the night of July 23, 2012.

Judge Canto has scheduled a change of plea hearing at 9 a.m. today and has indicated he wants to proceed for a pre-trial conference on the manslaughter case after his sentencing.

Tydingco said the victim on the collision case has been informed and the plea agreement is ready for court submission.
