FORMER Sen. Mana Silva Taijeron was named deputy administrator of the Guam Economic Development Authority during the GEDA board of directors meeting yesterday.

Taijeron served a single term in the 31st Guam Legislature. Prior to that, she was a longtime television news journalist with the Sorensen Media Group.

As Taijeron assumes the GEDA deputy position, Christina Garcia, who had been the acting deputy administrator, returns to her position as manager of GEDA’s Financial Services Division.
