THE U.S. Transportation Security Administration will be expanding the space it leases from the A.B. Won Pat International Airport.

The lease for the expanded space was awarded April 11, according to the Federal Business Opportunities website.

In October, TSA renewed its previous lease for 8,369 square feet. This will now expand into an additional 1,600 square feet, according to Rolenda Faasuamalie, airport marketing administrator.

The posted award of $776,057.37 “represents the rental and operating costs per annum due GIAA (Guam International Airport Authority),” Faasuamalie said.

The term of the lease is five years with five one-year options to renew for a maximum lease term of 10 years, according to a spokeswoman for the General Services Administration, which awarded the lease.
