(DPW) – The Department of Public Works has issued an alert to the motoring public that traffic will be restricted to two lanes (one in each direction) on Route 1, between Routes 8 and 4, in Hagåtña between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. beginning tonight through Friday morning, March 15.
During this time, west bound traffic on Route 4 (toward Marine Corps Drive) will be restricted to one lane.
According to DPW, the lane closures are necessary to create a safe work zone as the contractor constructs the new Hagåtña bridge.
All motorists are advised to proceed with caution and to obey all traffic signs and flagmen.
