THE 28-year-old man involved in last Wednesday’s fatal vehicle accident that killed a 4-year-old girl was released from Guam Memorial Hospital yesterday morning.

The man was reportedly driving up to 100 miles per hour in a Toyota Yaris along Route 8 when he collided with a Hyundai Tucson and hit a concrete pole of the tri-intersection traffic light in Barrigada.

Police are expected to interview the man about the incident. No arrests or citations have been made or issued, pending the outcome of the case which is still under investigation.

The little girl was discovered by police on the floor in the rear passenger seat of the Yaris. The driver of the Yaris was taken to GMH for treatment of injuries. The 4-year-old was transported to Naval Hospital but died early in the morning last Thursday.

The driver of the Tucson was also taken to Naval Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and was released.
