THE blood alcohol content of the driver involved in a fatal car accident about a week ago was more than the legal limit of .08.
Majesty Kolden Relech, 20, of Dededo, was charged with vehicle negligence, vehicular homicide, DUI with injury and a BAC over .08, reckless driving with injury, underage drinking, possession of an open container, and no driver’s license.
Relech was driving south along Route 3 near Swamp Road in a 1999 Ford Taurus at around 5 a.m. on Sept. 20 when she lost control of the vehicle, went onto the opposite lane, and struck a concrete pole.
With Relech was her passenger, Narinta Lee, 22, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Relech was transported to Guam Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and released.
An autopsy performed on Lee revealed her BAC was three times the legal limit at .305. Lee died from a broken neck.
Meanwhile, Relech was booked and confined.
