Mobil stations yesterday dropped its gasoline prices by 10 cents, bringing down the cost for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel to $4.78 from $4.88.
As of press time, 76 and Shell prices remained at $4.88, but they usually match the price of gas within a day.
Gas prices have been fluctuating all year, with its highest at $4.97 during the end of February.
Prices decreased about five times between May and June, then increased four times since July.
The lowest price of gas this year was $4.27 when it went down by 15 cents in June 25.
