AN OFFICER helping with a stalking investigation was allegedly struck by a suspect he was arresting.
The incident was reported Tuesday at around 7 p.m. Guam Police Department spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia said the officer was placing a handcuff on the right wrist of Clemente S.A. Bermudes when Bermudes allegedly threw his right elbow back and hit the officer in the right temple and gave the officer a black eye.
Bermudez was arrested on several charges, include assaulting a police officer. He was booked and confined.
