(UOG) – The University of Guam’s Professional & International Programs Office offers a Nonviolent Communication: Conflict Resolution Fundamentals workshop on Nov. 10 and 11.
The deadline to register is Nov. 2. For more information visit www.uog.edu/pip.
Registered Nurse and civil mediator Cindy Tucker will facilitate the two-day nonviolent communication workshop. Non-violent communication is used in more than 30 countries by schools, companies and non-profit organizations.
The workshop will help participants develop a more loving, compassionate, non-violent way of communicating and being with others.
It will also help participants enjoy relationships based on understanding, and hear others even when they speak in critical ways.
It will likewise enable participants to learn how to give up blaming themselves for everything and break patterns of thinking that lead to anger and depression.
