GET ready to kick off the Christmas season with the annual Jingle Bell Run where you can wear costumes and race for prizes or even win a trip to Hong Kong.
The fun run, presented by Marianas Variety and the Tourism Education Council Wave Clubs, will be held Saturday, Nov. 24.
The 3-mile route, which previously had been held in Hagatna, will now be in Tumon, beginning at the Nikko Hotel to Fiesta Hotel and returning to the top of Gun Beach hill finishing at the parking lot of the Beach at Gun Beach.
A 2k run will also be held with awards to be given to 1st thru 4th place finishers for ages 5 to 7, 8 to 10, and 11 to 13.
Entry fee is $10 in advance and $15 on race day. Students under 16 are $6 and $10 on race day. Teams or groups of five are $40.
There will be a costume contest with categories to include individual, baby, and team. First 800 finishers will receive T-shirts. Raffle prizes will be awarded with a grand prize trip for two to Hong Kong via Delta Airlines.
All proceeds from the run will benefit TEC and its WAVE Clubs.
