AN AUTOPSY is expected today to determine whether bones found in Yigo yesterday afternoon are human.
Guam Police Department spokesman A.J. Balajadia said at around 5:45 p.m., officers from the Dededo Precinct responded to a report of possible human remains in Mataguac, Yigo.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division were at the scene and are conducting a death investigation.
Balajadia said that because of the condition of the remains, it's too early to confirm whether the remains are human, what the gender is, or what the cause of death was, pending the findings of Medical Examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola.
