But 8 public schools have classes
TODAY, most of the public schools all over the island, except eight schools, will not have classes due to Professional Development Day.
The Guam Department of Education in collaboration with the schools under their jurisdiction schedule a Professional Development Day for the training and development of teachers and staff.
As announced by GDOE, the following public schools will still have classes today: D.L. Perez Elementary School, Finegayan Elementary School, J.M. Guerrero Elementary School, Liguan Elementary School, Ordot Chalan Pago Elementary School, Wettengel Elementary School, John F. Kennedy High School, and Simon Sanchez High School.
All other public schools not listed above will not have classes today.
For questions about the announcement, GDOE is encouraging parents to directly contact their children’s school.
