THE Philippine Consul General’s Office in Hagåtña and the Guam Filipino Artists will host the opening of their eighth monthly art exhibit today, featuring Roland and Tina Zepeda.

The husband and wife team share decades of experience and passion in the arts starting from their student years at the Technological University of the Philippines.

The Friday event is just one of the many collaborative projects that the couple has undertaken throughout the years.

For their joint exhibit, the Zepedas will showcase watercolor paintings and installations, including a mixed media piece entitled “Stop! Enough!” and a visual commentary on “crab mentality” – which is a perceived cultural mindset where individuals underhandedly pull others down when they are on their way to success.

The exhibit opens at 3 p.m. at the consular area of the Consulate General Office at the ITC building in Tamuning.

Last month's GFA exhibit featured Ruby "Ubeng" Fabro-Torres and Arnaldo "Neil" Calderon.
