RYAN Benavente Pangelinan pled guilty yesterday in the Superior Court of Guam to negligent homicide as a third degree felony for the death of an 11-year-old boy during an off-roading accident last year.
He was sentenced to three years probation and won’t have to serve any term of imprisonment.
Pangelinan was arrested after the off-road accident occurred in Manenggon Hills last July 10. He was the operator of a modified 1989 Toyota 4x4 that allegedly rolled over and killed 11-year-old Daniel Hattig Torre.
According to Variety news files, Torre was sitting in the bed of the pickup truck Panglinan was driving when he fell out. An autopsy report revealed Torre died from a skull fracture.
