Illegal fishing arrest made

A YIGO man was arrested recently by conservation officers for illegally fishing at the Piti Bomb Hole Marine Preserve.

On July 25 at around 5:11 p.m., Patrick Marmar was observed by officers of the Department of Agriculture’s Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources Law Enforcement Section at the marine preserve with reef fish and clam meat.

Marmar was charged for the alleged incident. 

Officers confiscated the fish and clam meat, along with a spear gun, snorkel and knives.
