MOTORISTS can expect continued roadwork today in Piti and at the Ylig Bridge.
Contractors from Nippo Corporation will be paving the northbound lane in front of the Pago Bay Resort starting at 9 a.m. Traffic will be open, but all motorists are advised to proceed with caution while in the area.
In Piti, work will continue on the southbound lane on Route 1. Construction crews from Ian Corporation will be repairing a manhole cover on the road between the manhole cover and Polaris Point from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, on Saturday, Aug. 11, just before the Ylig Bridge, the southbound lane will undergo paving. The lane will be open, but, once again, motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
