FISHERMEN, commercial pilots, marine tour operators and the general public are cautioned to avoid Warning Area 517 (W-517), south of Guam, as the Navy will be conducting training in the area tomorrow, Aug. 7, and Wednesday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
W-517 includes 14,000 nautical square miles at the south of Guam and extending south-southwest into international waters.
The training will affect fishing in the vicinity of Santa Rosa Reef and Galvez Bank.
Training may include surface and aerial gunnery, missile and laser exercises.
