GUAM Police Department officers are continuing their search for a suspect who shot a U.S. military service member last Saturday.
Acting Guam Police Department spokesman Sgt. Liz Flickinger said at around 11 p.m. that night, officers from the Dededo Precinct responded to a shooting at a residence along Kayen Komplementos.
“Upon their arrival, they came across a male individual on the ground being attended to by his neighbors and a medic. He sustained a gunshot wound to his right arm,” Flickinger said.
The man was transported to Naval Hospital for treatment and has since been medevaced off-island to Tripler Army Medical Center for further treatment of his injuries.
Flickinger said Criminal Investigation Division officers are investigating the case and searching for the suspects as well as a grey pickup truck that was reported fleeing the scene.
