LIBERATION 2012 festivities continue this weekend with memorial services honoring Chamorros who lost their lives in northern and southern Guam.
Today at 10 a.m. in Yigo, the Yigo Mayor’s Office is hosting the Chagui’an Massacre Memorial. For more information call the mayor’s office at 653-5248.
Tomorrow starting at 8 a.m., a visit to the Tinta and Faha Massacre sites in Merizo is scheduled. Those interested in attending are asked to meet at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Jose and Lee S.N. Quinata on Espinosa Avenue, Merizo. There will be a rosary at 9:30 a.m.
Right after the Tinta site, visitors are asked to proceed to Merizo cemetery pavilion where there will be another rosary held at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Merizo San Dimas Catholic Church grounds.
On Sunday, a memorial service will be held at the church. It begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by 11 a.m. Mass, and a ceremony at noon.
