THE Guam Memorial Hospital Volunteers Association announced it has exceeded its goal of raising $90,000.
The funds will be used to buy sterilization equipment for the operating room, medical transport monitors for medical evacuation patients, and the cell washer and centrifuge equipment for the library.
The additional funds will also be used to provide other vital equipment for GMH.
The organization thanks all its community supporters who contributed to the cause. The Guam Memorial Hospital Volunteers Association is made up of community volunteers who raise funds through the GMHVA Charity Ball Drive and the GMH gift shop.
