THE Guam Police Department’s Highway Patrol Division will continue conducting DUI checkpoints this weekend until the end of the month.
The checkpoints will be put up along Route 1 from Naval Station to Andersen Air Force Base; Route 4 (Hagåtña near the Bank of Guam headquarters down towards Merizo); Route 10 (Tai Chalan Pågo through Mangilao and towards Barrigada at the tri-intersection); Route 8 (Maite up towards Barrigada at the tri-intersection); Route 16 (Barrigada tri-intersection down towards Harmon next to the Micronesia Mall); and Route 14 (San Vitores Road).
The checkpoints are from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
If inclement weather occurs, the officers will convert to roving DUI checkpoints.
